Tailored Support for Deaf, Deafblind, and Disabled Adults
We understand the challenges and barriers faced by Deaf, Deafblind and Disabled adults and can offer different levels of support to meet individual needs. We pair our clients with trained Support Workers who are skilled in using preferred ways of communicating – whether that is BSL, SSE, speech and lipreading, Deafblind manual, visual frame, block, hands-on signing or picture boards and other visual methods.
Our services include:
- Supporting independence and learning new skills, for example cooking, budgeting or using public transport.
- Accessing services and the local community, and reducing loneliness.
- Helping to understand and manage emails, letters and bills.
- Promoting confidence and helping to achieve goals.
- Attending “The HUB” – our exclusive client-only weekly programme.
