Young people (14-25)
We understand that these transition years can be challenging for Deaf, Deafblind, and deaf and non-verbal young people with additional needs and other disabilities. It can also be challenging for the wider family.
We know that every young person’s experiences and communication needs are different and personal to them.
We work with the young person and their family or carers to develop a support plan that is unique to them and helps their development and independence. We regularly review their plan to meet the young person’s changing needs and goals as they move towards becoming an adult.
