Young people (14-25)

Tailored Support for Deaf, Deafblind, and Disabled Young people

We understand that these transition years can be challenging for young people and their families, especially when there are additional needs to think about. We know that every young person’s experiences and communication needs are different and personal to them.

We work with the young person and their family or carers to develop a support plan that is unique to them and helps their development and independence. We regularly review their plan to meet the young person’s changing needs and goals as they move towards becoming an adult.

Our services include:

    • Meeting role models and developing friendships with their peers at events or out in their local community.
    • Learning life skills and building confidence, encouraging them to make positive choices and to stay safe online.
    • Building healthy relationships and learning to communicate better with family, friends, teachers and work colleagues.
    • NEED TO ADD YOUTH MENTOR?

We also have a Parenting Service that focuses on improving parent and child relationships. To learn more about our Parenting Service click here.
